Every kosher mezuzah scroll must be handwritten by a certified, God-fearing scribe (Sofer Stam) using authentic quill (kulmus) and vegetable-based black gall-nut ink on specially prepared animal parchment (klaf). A single broken crown (tag) or touching letter can render the scroll non-kosher (pasul).
2. Dual Computer & Rabbinical Verification
All scrolls offered through Kippah Cam undergo rigorous two-stage inspection: high-resolution optical computer verification to detect minute letter anomalies, followed by manual rabbinic review by an expert examiner.

Exterior doorposts exposed to rain, humidity, and direct UV sunlight require specialized sealed enclosures. We manufacture cast stone, heavy acrylic, and silicone-gasket metal cases designed to safeguard delicate parchment against moisture infiltration year-round.
